Anybody else remember the red theme this subforum used to have?

This was quite a few years ago, around the time of AHD Iirc. This particular subforum had a red theme instead of the blue you see everywhere now. The blue was still on most of the forums. I wanna say HOI had a gray subforum as well but I'm less certain on that. I think you could even set your account so that it displayed like that for the whole forum. When did that change? Was it when they changed over forum software around 2015? Anybody have screenshots for nostalgia?

Longer before that, there was even a way to get a custom avatar, but they were all removed in the great custom avatar purge. Well, nearly all. Once in a great while you might find an account that still has one, or maybe that ended with the software change as well.

The new forum software is quicker and shinier , but has far less features and is less exciting.

The old forum was still available for a while to roam unofficially here

but then they closed it for the public as well.

Probably when too many got to know that and like me did use it occasionaly..or as you said just
for the features and to reassure me i wasn't remembering it wrongly.

Aw man, suddenly I miss the old forum with a vengeance. Vicky had the most beautiful theme of them all. And you never posted a thread in the wrong game forum by accident.

And the red-brown theme is back! Not quite as nice as the old one, but nearly so. Quick, [COLOR=rgb(255, 255, 255)]AsdfeZxcas,[/COLOR] ask for Victoria 3 now! They seem to grant your wishes, at the moment!

Just remember, when v3 is mentioned, the announcement date is pushed back a year. I think we are looking at about Warhammer 3000.

Nah, you all know I'm using the second wish for Victoria 3 and then using the third wish to wish that the second one comes true.

The forum gods certainly heard you regarding the colours, OP. Let's hope that the game dev gods are equally generous.
