Soo, i need to set civic only for my prescripted country.
But as i see it can by triggered only by
# Civics support:
# - country_type
# - ethics
# - authority
# - civics

Any way to change country type?
Try type and country_type, but it not worked.

Only way i see it change in game start, but it very bad way in my opinion.

You're going to have to learn to love little hacks like on_game_start surgical operations. The modding API covers the game's features only to the extent that PDX has needed it to do so for its core mechanics and content. Check the vanilla game files and trigger_docs for any possible "good way," but always be prepared to hack your way to a solution if there's one to be found at all. Otherwise you'll be giving up on a lot of modding ideas.

And the effect is set_country_type

If i understood you right, you want to prevent it from being generated in random empires? It might be possible to prevent that by simply changing random_weight = { base = 1 } to 0.

In any case, changing country_type is a terrible way to do it. As a lot of events very specifically looks for the default country type.

You could also try if it's possible to have it look for species traits. Not tested myself if that works with that particular scope though.

EDIT: ah nope. Just tested with species traits. no go. Noticed the requirements readme, and the limitations listed there.

If i trigger civic by country type and set type it on game start, country will be unplayable in game start menu.
