Any way to tone down the graphics?

I tried the demo and it was a little laggy. Are there more advanced settings in the full game where i can turn down the shadows or textures?

Dropping the screen resolution eliminated the lag for me, though it's not a perfect solution.

In settings.txt file change draw trees=no , draw postfx = no , draw blloom = no

that should give you some extra fps.

I am waiting for legacy mode, though. Legacy mode for Sengoku runs smoothly on my netbook!

Isn't bloom automatically set to 'no'? I ask because I wanted to turn it on (benefits of a shiny new pc), and found it wouldn't stick. That and shadows would just reset to no every time I ran the game.

So, i guess I have the opposite problem from the OP. I can run it with more shiny, give me more shiny!!

You've got a computer that can't take CK2? Seriously, that's in need of an upgrade and that's coming from a half-decade old computer

I turned off the water and it ran a little bit more smoothly. It looked odd, though.
