Any way to link to a custom text.csv file in my scenario?

Sorry if this is a newb question, but I'm a newb modder.

I'm making a minor change which involves adding a country to the map. Is there anyway to get the scenario to like to a custom text.csv file so I don't have to overwrite the standard one?

As far as your question goes, I have no idea, that file has frustrated me also. Sorry.

Good question. I doubt it. I think the main executable will look for that file, and I haven't seen any pointers anywhere that are moddable.

Text.csv files are also language-localized so if you make a change people in other countries won't be able to use it.

As long as HoI doesn't support moddir (yet?) the only way is to replace the existing file.
