Start 1936, playing Germany. Would be very pleasant, if I could avoid the U.S joining the Allies in 1942. Can't stand against both Britain, France & the US! Plus I don't intend to invade the U.S anyway.

How? Boost fascism in all 3? Keep World Tension low? (Leave Poland & Rhineland alone).
Or must I defeat Britain & France, before 1942?

Thank you! :))

Keeping WT low will delay the problem. To be honest, I am not sure that you should be able to avoid it altogether, at least not in a somewhat historical campaign.

If you have no concern with playing in a semi-historical fashion, then boosting Fascism in the USA is an option. Be sure to start doing so early. Do not bother doing the same with Britain and France. France you can easily destroy and you very badly want their factories. The UK will be somewhat isolated and not a big threat unless the USA enters on their side.

Naah, I gotta stick on the historical option.
The US always enters on Britain's side.
But if I can take Britain (and France) down before 1942, there is no "Allied side", is there? Or... If Canada, Australia etc.. don't step down when Britain surrenders, there still is.
Irritating! One thing is the US military might; Secondary, I have no intention on touching US ground anyway. -_-

Best way is to increase Fascism as early as you can. This will affect their elections and the Russians will get blamed.... J/K on the Russian thing haha. But yea, that is the best way. If they are not going Fascist, try to start a coop and aid the Fascist West Coast with volunteers.

So basically, if the fascist wins the election, the "Allied" faction won't be? I know they can't join the Axis, cause they're still Democratic, but that's all good; I want to conquer them anyway!

All I wish, is to avoid war with the U.S.

Oh.... and, most very importantly.... do not let Japan join your faction... risk to drag you in the war.
But, if the fascists wins the 1940 elections in Britain (plus the US)?, there won't be any "Allied" faction? (And me not attacking Poland & keeping World Tension below 25%). I just want to avoid the U.S at all costs

Yep, I know. Japan don't contribute with jack anyway - at all! Should I avoid Italy too? They're good! Definitely not looked into history on that one hehe.. They still keeps on pushing wars way beyond my interests, though.

The US and UK are Fascist themselves.

They just love to police the world and butt into everybody's business. They need representation on every part of the globe. I just had a game where the UK threatened war with me if i didn't stop trading with Germany. It's also OK if the US nukes a third world country for resisting becoming a puppet. Oh yes, all for the sake of freedom and liberty.

Italy is fine. :)
Cool! :D Contrary to history, Italy's solid help!
I know I sound this sounds... "demanding", shall we say? Well, I'm more desperate.
If I may, you never actually confirmed or not, if my layout of your strategy vs the US would work? I do use the "historical option".

I think as other's have said if you boost Fascism early you can keep them out of the war. Though I have never done this, and think it would lead to a very boring game as Germany. But each to their own I suppose.

Well, I'm afraid I don't have the skills to wage war against the U.S & Britain simultaneously. When I take France, I'll be way open for total naval invasion, which is the only way both can get on board.
So why I would I wage war against the US, when I can't beat them, because I don't intend to invade them anyway? :D They're not just another Britain, France or any other state, whom I can just like dry out.

The USA has a lot of resources that the Wehrmacht could put to good use :). When you take France out garrison the ports with one or two garrison divisions in each port and keep five or six light panzer divisions in handy locations, and let them invade they are ducks to the slaughter as the saying goes. But don't let them acquire any ports is your top priority.

Hmm.. That sounds interesting! Didn't know you could do it like that easily.
They have a tremendous amount of resources! But that damn land is quite far away! I intend to conquer all of Europe! In the end, properly also Italy & that.But... For the time being, just Europe.
What Germany lack the very most, while they have plenty of others, is also the only thing I'll need for this; A navy. This will be my first major gameplay, not wondering when I'm gonna restart (been having a lot of those). Studied the game from top to bottom now, including 70 ingame hours, various countries. Everything is set!
Europe is mine. The rest...? Well, they can feel save for now ;)

Also, nukes are disabled both for me & them. That may complicate things a bit. Nukes ain't strategy, but this game is :D

You don't need any huge navy. Some subs and naval bombers escorted by fighters are sufficient for getting the superiority needed for invasions. Get to The Gambia or something along that, invade Brazil (just two seazones) and conquer the hole thing from the south. The Brazilian jungle might be a hindrance (need to build infratsructure there) but as soon as you conquered the ports first of Venezuela, second of (British) Mexico, you should be fine. Precious Texan oil is yours to take ;)

Other possible route: Scotland or Norway -> Iceland -> Greenland -> New Foundland/Canada -> New England.
Or you conquer the USSR and take the short route via Kamchatka -> Alaska.

All three routes have problems with low infrastructure and low level ports. The route via Africa and South America is most rewarding since there are some resources to take on the way. The northern route via Greenland needs several naval invasions and the route via USSR needs - obviously - the full defeat of the USSR first.

I got eyes everywhere! But yeah, I properly shouldn't blink too much, before they breach.
Oh, I know well enough about history not to say that to... anybody! Dangerous to sleep, some talk in their sleep!

Thanks for the multiple way strategy!! :) Would properly need to read through a lot of walkthroughs and watch idiocticly long videos, to get that info...
