I was playing a Grand Campaign as Turkey and I won.

Unfortunately I won while in a rather advantageous war with Nippon and after just annexing half of what was left of Poland-Lithuania.

And I was doing very well.

I won and that was good, but I want to do more and more and more until the world is mine (literally). :)

Is there any way to change the end date to go beyond 1792? I'd want to play until the year 1900 or 2000 or something, haha. I know tech doesn't change or anything, but it'd be fun.

Any way to do this?

I think you can play beond 1792 if you use the EUUnlimited patch made by Moctezuma and playing a mission based scenario.

An easier way i think, if you dont wanna have that patch, should be to open your save file and set the date 100 years backwards. That way you should be able to play in another hundred years.

I won't enter in a argument with EU1's self proclaimed defender... but let's just say that I would have bought EU2 too if I had had a sufficiently powerful computer. :p

That being said, EU1 still gets the job done. :)

Well.. It might be ok to buy EU 2 for the same reason you buy a certain book... To have it in your bookshelf ´cause its looks good to have it there.

Other wise I cant figure out the reason :D

You sure don't want to take it out of the box; it may lose some value... :D
