Any way to break an AI PU?

In my current game as Brandenburg/Prussia. Bohemia has been PU'd with Mazovia(eastern poland) and more importantly Saxony and the Palatinate. Both electors. I have beaten Bohemia in several wars. AI Austria has also yet I can't make Prestige drop low enough to Break the PU's Bohemia has a plurality of electors. They took my electoral vote away. So I can't really influence elections any more. and fighting the HRE Emperoro is a pain in the ass even with France on your side. It seems all the doomstacks come after me and It doesn't care if my allies own their territory. Fighting these unbreakable vassal/allies is a pain.

Well you could just annex the PUs next time you war them.

Alternatively, occupying their capital nukes their prestige, so do that a few times.

Well, in my game Burgundy had many PUs, so I warred them and made them release Flanders and Nevers (liberation CB from bill of rights national idea can do it)

That way they got really low on troops, and then the members of their PUs started insulting them, and later the PUs were broken (at new monarch)

It's pretty hard to have less troops than Saxony. In addition, Bohemia isn't as easily balkanized as Burgundy.

Get more territory, more support limit, bigger army. Wait until land tech 18 for the tactics boost, and use that against Bohemia to completely wipe out their armies. You also wait for Prussian military reforms that come later.
As Pewt said, taking Bohemia's capital will tank their prestige, and make sure they keep prestige under 0, and their union will break.

Also, if Saxony is a opm, then you can demand their province in a peace deal with Bohemia (Saxony will no longer exist, and a new elector will appear). You can also demand isolated PU's capitals in this way.

It's pretty hard to have less troops than Saxony. In addition, Bohemia isn't as easily balkanized as Burgundy.
