Any way at all to add provinces in America to the HRE?

Even as the emperor of the HRE with my capital in America, I cannot add any of the provinces to the HRE. I'm wanting to make an entire HRE world but I can't see to do this =/

You have to cheat, if you want the whole world HRE then it's probably best to remove or replace the neighbouring province requirement in the HRE join decision. This will disable acheivements of course, and you probably want to save a copy of the file.

Nah, that's baby mode. I want every province to be a part of the empire if possible.

I'm playing as Hansa in VH mode. Hereditary rule of the HRE as a merchant republic, just as god intends. I own every North and South American province and was hoping to make them part of the HRE if possible.

I became a monarchy for only a couple of years, stole the crown, enacted the reform for hereditary rule, stuck a centre of trade on my capital and then became a merchant republic again.

Edit your savegame that one Province in America is part of the HRE, than expand from there

Geet the IA, annex all of HRE and all provinces become HRE automatically. Simple as that.
