Sigh....Here in Kansas, Gamestop says that they'll be getting the game October 1st now. If this happens again I'm just gonna buy Rome:Total War instead.

Heh, well, due to the rampant floods that hit philly, I wasn't able to really check on it. lol. I'll try again tomorrow nite, I know the kids that work at my local EBgames, a few went to High school with me and they owe me for a lot of stuff lol. If I see it, they'll hold it for me till the next day which would be payday. I'm also trading in Fable for this. Hope this doesn't dissapoint like that did. Which I doubt.

To cramerthegr8- I'd recommend waiting for Creative to release a patch for RTW, but since you are waiting to get CK, I expect you can deal with a game being buggy. :rofl:

I just called the local Gamestop and they said that they had CK in store today. I also placed calls to EB and they said that they did not have it in today. This is for the Dover, DE area so I dont know how that pans out across the rest of North America. I also know that I'm prolly the only person on the Delmarva pennisula that has been searching for this game so fanatically. Anyways, just wanted to give a heads up. Later.

As I said here the Gamestop at Oglethorpe Mall in Savannah doesn't have it yet, and everytime I go on the arrival date it seems like it keeps getting pushed back. :wacko:

Sooo, I stopped of at Future Shop and Staples. Neither had the games. I was told Staples wasn't expecting it at all. The guy at Future Shop said its on their list, but from what he sees they "stopped distributing it" since "its over three years old". I laughed at him, and asked him politely to stop improvising. Then I asked to take a look myself. Ok.....then I forcibly took a look myself (to his apparent shock and awe). The game is indeed on the Future Shop list, without any sort of release date or other details. Which translates into a hit or miss situation. Oh vell. I'll keep you posted.

Still nodda here in Phoenix. The guy said there was no rush on distributing the game in the US because there were no pre-orders and such. So, I guess the new trend is that a game now has to have pre-orders before people get off their ***es and deliver the product.

That's BS! Not only because it leaves out people who might see it in the store and buy it on the spot...
...but it fails to realize most people DON'T pre-order games they want.
Most people I talk to who work at game stores say that they constantly get people coming in and asking if they have a copy of a game. When asked if they want to reorder, its the same thing: No. :rofl:

That's why I'm done with stores run by twenty-something imbiciles who have no idea what the f*** is going on around them, and their handicapped distributors who haven't probably ever even taken one economics class in their lives.
