Most likely we will... CORE 0.4.9 is basically an Armageddon cross-over, which happens to run reasonably well on AoD (most rudimentary tweaking issues resolved). But it doesn't fully utilize all of AoD's features yet. That scheduled for release 0.5.0.

CORE has extensive synthetic oil and rare events for Germany, and limited ones for SOV and USA. Since this is an integral part of CORE, we did not want to change it in 0.49.

We may even decide to keep the events in and make synthetic material plants available on top of that.

This is a good plan.

I like the ability to build them but they shud come from tech, but events give good game feeling.

Depending on how the new buildings actually work in game, we may well adapt the existing event series to use the new buildings. If so, there would be implications for the tech trees as well, and it is likely that most nations would be unable to ever build these items, since the research requirements (probably in the Special Projects/Secret weapons tree) would not be met for 90%+ of the nations in the game within the timescale.

One of those things for us to look at once we get past the initial adaptation of CORE 2 for AoD.
