Any sound file mods for Battletech?

Having been keeping an ear to what the BT/MW community has been up to, I've noticed some of the MWO players with YouTube channels have been posting matches that include sound files from...vintage MechWarrior titles. Notably computer sounds and the old 'pew pew' autocannons from MW2.

Is anyone currently modding these sound files into this game?

Only one worth mentioning on NexusMods (can't link to directly, against forum policy)...

Battletech Sound Replacement Pack, which replaces some weapon SFX with their MechWarrior 4 versions.

As for adding SFX? Don't think anyone's figured out that one yet (SFX/VFX for weapons are linked, maybe hard-coded).

Thanks I'll have look at that. It's obviously been done with MWO, so I expected someone tried it here

I really like the Battletech Sound Replacement Pack, EXCEPT that the AC/5 is incredibly loud - so loud I can't really play with it - and the PPC on the other hand is really low. So I rolled back, since I don't know how to adjust the individual volumes of the sounds. It has great promise, but need some tweaking IMO.

Thanks for the heads up on that, I suppose I can only try, but a little more crack to my autocannons was one of the things I was looking for.
