Just wondering if anyone see any point in invading Norway in the game. It does not increase tungsten imports nor does it preempt British occupation so wonder if anyone see any advantage to this....
Yeah the game mechanics don't make it relevant to invade, the u boat scenario might be the only reason, given that they will be able to pass the sea province to Norway in the first place, which in my experience often is attacked.3. Norwegian bases could stage Kriegsmarine U-boats to move into the North Sea.

The only problem I see with the Norway situation is because of Naval warfare and convoy raiding ATM. I dont know how it works in reality but I imagine evenin with the might of the Royal Navy, historically it was not a smart move to sail into enemy coastal waters unless you had air superiority.
IMHO naval engagements close to an allied shore should be in your favor. That could possibly translate into an increased spotting, engage and air effictivity rating. Right now this is only slightly represented by radar stations which are expensive in both IC and research. I figure even without radar you have better intel about whats going on on your shores compared to somewhere in the atlantic.
Maybe we could have an event-chain that breaks off trade with Sweden November-March if you do not control Narvik while at war with Britain. At least a peace-meal solution for mods, anyone have ideas along those lines?
Pardon if I'm wrong but aren't the Danish belts also controlled by Norway making it vital to the Soviet Union? I'm in a playthrough as Germany and I'm about to invade the Soviet Union but not until I seize the Danish Belts and Dardenelles.
