In vanilla, pretty much the only sane way to play is to never land anyone of your dynasty and toss them in prison when they almost inevitably slip into decadence. Other than playing with a non-Iqta government, mods are probably the answer to your question. CK2+ I recall does cadet dynasties to solve the problem, and I believe HIP has at least re-worked decadence if not done the same.
