Well basic info most people know:
- About a year ago or so they (forgot who) said that they currently lack the guy in office who has a good idea and would like the challenge.
Then we got the Beta patch in december, so...who knows.
- Johan said more or less recently (two months ago or so) in a reddit discussion that they will never make such a deep
mechanic (or did he mean the general complexity of the game ? Not sure) like economics in Victoria II ever again. Well it went something like that.
So i'm not hopeful for VIC III and also fear it might be 'casualed' aka dumbed down (especially in parts where it shouldn't)
instead of more reliable tooltips or better tutorial or an ingame libary..or altogether.
That said i'm open to positive surprises though, dear Paradox.
Then again, the economy might actually work better and be more intuitive when slightly (and only that !) simplified,
.... but i don't know. OF COURSE it depends on so many factors..
