Any news regarding vic3?

Hi!
First i want to day i am new to victoria forum so if i have missed anything obvious please take it easy.

I am have played vic2 and i like it but there are things that can get better like intarface etc. But the game is quite old and i was wondering if there are any news regarding vic3?
Any news at all. Like have they started working? If so how long for release? Will they even continue with victoria?
Like between eu3 and eu4 it was 6 years. And it has gone like that amount of time.

Im sorry if have missed somthing but i really like the timespan of vic2 and strategy games! Hope the will make a vic 3

Okay. Yeah i dont want them to make the game casual. They did hoi4 to casual imo. Very sad. But all we can do is that tjey gice vic 3 more love and more work!

I never played any other hoi title before hoi4. And i think it is extremely easy even on veteral difficulty with ironman on..
Even less complexity than eu4.

Yeah i agree but its very frustrating with for example hoi4 to wait a year for the game to be good. I want a good game and then the dlc to expand a good game. Imo
Anyways i hope it wont be several years before vic 3

I've been saying it for years if they make it intuitive then they can make it both deep and easy to learn. Stupid abstractions like mana in eu4 is what makes paradox games needlessly cumbersome.

When extra credit mentions paradox games they don't suggest they reduce the content they just suggest better tutorials, so I hope that Paradox realsies no one wants their games to be less, only more approachable.

I really hope Vic 3 is being planned. And I hope they don't simplify it by cutting content. Instead make the UI better, but don't take away what makes Vicky awesome, i.e. the complex socio-economic aspects such as pops, the World market and tons of different resources.

Victoria 2 is already a fairly "casual" game but most information is very unclear and/or hard to reach.
In my opinion it's the best Paradox game of all once you learn how to extract information in a more or less timely manner. It needs a few more mechanics like rivals/factions/coalitions and a more dynamic relations system, like the ones in EU4 and even HOI4.

Of course it also needs an economy that handles shortages better instead of blocking you off resources even if you are willing to pay all the money in the world for them.
