Any mentions on the next dev diary yet?

Well, if they're still following the same schedule it'll show up on the December 12th. No news on the topic as far as I know though.

More seriously, if their holiday season is anything like it is in the US I doubt they'll be moving to more dev diaries until the new year has started.

Trying to get more info than they decided to give is like trying to get blood from a stone. Podcat seems to always be very careful with his replies so they don't give out more than they meant to probably to stop from creating riots by mentioning things that don't make the final cut or are not fully fleshed out yet.

This be very sensible on the part of the devs imo - much better to wait until a feature is ready to reveal than show something that then gets changed significantly or removed - that'd have people making all sorts of wild and emotional claims.

You mean like when he said he had this idea to use bombers as transport planes, which led to several hundred post long outburst, but in the end transport planes are in, because probably when he tried it he found out game was better with dedicated transport planes? If he said nothing, the end result would be the same, but without all that hate (although judging from the discussion of dev diaries, I have a feeling this forum would find something else to direct its hate towards...).

Or counters, or battle plans, or what-have-you. On the by, in the DD about transports in question, the way it was written wasn't "this is an idea I'm trying" but "there are no transport planes", so for that particular issue it was partly about how it was presented to the community.

No. I mean the 1000 other times they showed big or small features and people blew their stacks for no reason.
