I hope there will be a chance to make direct long-term deals with other nations instead of or as a part of a world market.

It would be nice to know what are the resources used. Coal, steel, cotton, wood and food seem pretty propable ones, one of the screenshots seem to have oil also. There might be a problem with oil though, since it was used only in the latter part of the timeline.

Watch me play prussia and gain some "useless" empty deserts very early and making myself the laughingstock of the other royals. and then when time comes - I will have the biggest oilreserves one can imagine! bwahahahaa ha ha ha! Mine! Aaaaaall mine! Muaha ha ha ha! :D

I hated being forced to manually click through the trading in Imperialism, but a bit similar system with ongoing deals might prove to be good.

Wilhelm II: Berlin-Baghdad railway does seem like the way to go for you then
