Does anyone know when we can expect Green Cities to be released, I'm not sure of this games typical release cycle since I{ only first started paying attention to development at Mass Transit. Thank you in advance. And while your're here: does anyone have any ideas for future expansions floating around in their head?

They have remained tight lipped about it.

They are doing weekly updates on it. Mass Transit was every two weeks. Does that mean it is coming sooner? Or they have more to cover? Or means nothing at all?

The announced features have been shown in the gameplay videos.
Unless there are other features they have not revealed yet, Green Cities seems quiet advanced.

Prepare for the usual disruption (although CO have developed impressive effective contingency plans that kicked in when Mass T was launched) Normal service WILL be resumed- really really fast!

Bah! Charlie Hollocks to the usual disruption!
Meanwhile... I recall with some fond amusement working with a colleague of mine in an almost long forgotten job I had in a city far far away.
He decided to become a Vegan and I remember soy and lentils were indeed common constituents of his new diet. I also remember the shockingly frequent amount of trips he had to make to the toilet throughout the day lol.
I wonder therefore if CO have factored this extra amount of sewage production into their Green Cities sewage algorithm ;)
Probably not, but that would be the only disruption of normalcy I'd like to see occur.
Anyway, since we're close enough to Christmas, I'll leave you with this green message :D

"NORMALCY"??? Arrgh! A horrible American corruption of the ENGLISH language. NORMALITY !

Quite correct. Said to be coined by Warren Harding during his 1920 presidential campaign. However, "A fact brought up at that time was that not only was normalcy around since 1857, or before Harding was even born, but the supposedly proper normality was only a few years older, first recorded in 1849. (Normalness was also a word of that era, but it never got very far.) Another relevant fact is that normal itself, in the familiar sense 'standard' (another sense, in geometry, goes back to the seventeenth century), only dates from the 1820s and was rare until the 1840s. Thus when discussing any form of normal we must remember that it is a rather recent word all of whose relevant forms appeared at about the same time."

Heh Blacksheep, I apologise for using an americanism and I hope your disgust is assuaged.
I would offer the word in Latin, 'normalitatis', but that would be a little too pedantic don't you think? Let's just use the word normal in this acronym to describe the current homogenisation (NB. no Z used - English spelling convention observed) of the English language as used by all English speaking people in the world... SNAFU ;)

As I have pointed out, the word is not an Americanism but rather a neologism coined when the word "normal" itself was new to the language. And yes English speaking people do indeed use a "z". or if you prefer. a zed, to spell homogenization; note that your spelling is underlined as wrongly spelt as well as your spelling of "apologise" and your failure to capitali"z"e Americanism. The English language has long ceased to be the possession of the English people. You can thank your empire builders for that.

It is certainly not an "acronym", but merely a usage current when the word first entered the language in it's standard meaning as "usual" or "ordinary".

The funny thing is that many years ago, I had to write a paper on the election of 1920 and I came across the defense of Warren Harding's use of the word. He was infamous for his use of common language. Which is why I posted when the black sheep objected to it. English is spoken the way English speaking people across the world wish to use it. There may well be a formal and informal way of speaking or writing it, but there exists no proper way to spell it.

Stevie B. thanks for the info. Language is constantly changing- words and phrases fall in and out of favour and meaning can and does often change. Even someone from as recent as the 1960's might have difficulty following the ordinary speech pattern of today's children! Interesting point about Warren Harding- I wonder if Trump's mangled incoherent "BIGLY" will become the new normal(cy)?

By the way, SNAFU is the acronym I was referring to -_-

SNAFU is so very common, I saw it as just another word. I entirely missed your point.
