I hope you meant you will be installing into Games, not "Program Files\Games"... ;)

Sorry, I don't have Vista, so I cannot help. Surely deinstalling using the Windows Remove Software function should help...

You could try deleting registery for HoI2 and then try to reinstall.

If you have no idea how to access registery, it is not that hard but you'd beter be careful about what you do in there. Anyway, Start menu -> run -> write regedit and then click ok -> hkey_local_machine -> software -> paradox interactive.

Then simply delete HoI2DD folder from there\Hearts of Iron 2 doomsday folder\whatever it is in there.

Well i did deleted everything but only one that is in "Property Store" (Software) i can't delete it dont know why its a (default) file and when i try to delete
It says "Unable to delete all Specified Values"

(damn such a great game and the install-unistall detail screws it up hope HOI3 will be free from these)

It's got nothing to do with the game, it's Vista and the uneducated users who mess up the install ;)
