Any good mods similar to CK2s HIP, Mass Effect/Star Wars conversions etc?

Basically what it says in the title - I'm considering buying Stellaris, but I'd first like to know about the types of mods that are available for it, especially ones that give more depth to the RP/event sphere of the game, similar to HIP for CK2 and universe conversions. I've found an ME and SW on Moddb, but the ME one seems to be dead and based on experience most of a mod's discussions are found on the official PD forums.

Thank ye kindly in advance!

There isn't much on that scale yet because, to put it into perspective, CK2 is five years old and Stellaris isn't even one. Mods like HIP or Game of Thrones are kind of like developing small games in and of themselves. It can take a team of people months or years, not least because they also have to make a living and have actual lives and stuff.

I think the other major thing is that updates to Stellaris are huge. Each update has made very extensive changes to core game mechanics and making big, interconnected mods at this point is more of a risk than it would be for CK2, which is mostly done and where most of the core systems are pretty set in stone.
