Byzantine Cheat

Quick, newbish question:

If I used the "byzantine" console command cheat code, how long will it remain active? For just that play session or for the remainder of time play on that save?

i think that this cheat doesnt work if you have the vanilla version...right????

Not sure. I never played with a version older than 1.04.
Is there any reason you're not patching?
