This a the first part of a two part French comic book about the mother of King Edward III, Isabella of France, known at the time as the She-Wolf of France. (What a program !)

PROS:
-Lovely art. As this is a French comic, obviously, this includes ladies lacking a bit in the clothing department at times....
-Medieval intrigue matching Games of Thrones, but in the real world. (Isabella's dad, Philip the Fair, could have teach Tywin Lannister some tricks about deception and machiavelism)
-Basically, the whole comic book is a comic book version of the legendary series ''The Accursed Kings'', but centered on Isabella.
-Stuff like the brothers d'Aulnay being caught red-handed having an affair with royal princesses and being sentenced to being broken on wheels, then flayed alive, then emasculated, then beheaded, then hanged never get old.
CONS :
-Edward II creative use of a chapelet.
