Another game ruined

yes damit im ranting wtf is this first time i though i might have gone crazy but now in a minute??? i was playing as tuscany carefuly secured northern italy vassalized the papal state allied with france i got that interface bug where you cant train any units, so i said oh well il just restart ,after restart i see im at war with papal states austria is my ally france is attacking me WUT :O ? YES ITS A DAMN BUG i dont care if community agrees (i was told to ask community last time)

EDIT: and i dont have my army why am i loosing the war against papal states ...i had a grand army when i attacked them and yes its ironman

You still can train them in individual provinces though.

I'm fairly confused. Any time we have any issues playing we just save the game and rehost from that point. Never had a problem with it.

True. And if you build a unit in a province, when you click on another province you get directly to the buying units screen so it's quite fast.

i know but thats not the point , last time it happened i was england i nearly lost my mind to win 100years war was my greatest game ever after 3 days pause i load the save:

1.sweden not my vassal (which it was when i left game)
2.france not in pu (damn all those stability hits to declare no casus belli wars and give em their original territory back...)

and some other stuff i dont remember..

Well I just save, reload, and the bug is gone.
Don't know how can your diplomacy be screwed up. You need to be very careful with pauses, I think.Just pause as soon as you notice the bug, then save and reload immediately.

the Interface bug is not whats bothering me simple restart fixes it...its the save game corruption (ironman saves) bug thats killing me , upon loading save my country is completely different (vassals , wars,allies)

It's a bug where the trainable units (be land or naval) dissapears.

When you have no manpower the trainable units are there, but the provinces are red since you don't have MP to train them.

You cant when playing ironman. I love ironman, but its the rear side of the medal. If ironman mode, and a bug occures, youre screwed.

I've come across this bug rather consistently whenever I'm loading a save while I have an active game going, borks the multi-province recruitment interface everytime. A simple exiting to the menu and loading my game from there (after having saved it before I exited obviously) fixes it though. As for the diplomacy bug, never encountered it here.

Low self- and impulse-control, so they force it on themself to not use the console to cheat or to savescum.

I'm no expert, but it looks like a bug. Next time it happens, get as much clear information about the situation as you can and post a bug report.

There's a known bug whereby if you're low on disk space, the game saves a partial save. It doesn't warn you that it couldn't save completely, and when you reload the save it doesn't warn you that it's only loaded half a game. When this happened to me the game would crash shortly thereafter. But before that, the symptoms sounded vaguely similar - in my case, I lost all my diplomatic relations with all other nations.

I'm pretty sure this would apply to Ironman too, because I believe Ironman saves locally then uploads to the cloud.

Ironman is not useless. It's the one feature that made me actually learn the game, compared to previous versions, and try to have fun without savescuming.
