I've continued the game, and I'm nearly 40 years later.
Over 30 years of constant fighting. No chance to establish tradeposts or colonies, as they are constantly overrun by the bloody Spanjards or Portugese.
I must be the badboy of all Europe. A Bit like W. Bush at the moment, at least my spelling is better.
