Hm.. Almost all my pagan games ends on continuous CTD at the time when whole world expect India is mine.
This game is no exception :(

This save has stable crashed a week or two after load.

This is second walkthrough of this game.
First time it has crashed about same year. I found save forty years ago and played again another way.
But the result is almost the same. :(

Third and fourth try ends with the same result but at different times. former two years quicker latter three years later.
But once crashed that save will be crashed constantly.

It crashes for me in the dev version as well, just after a few days. I'll file a bug report for it so that we can look into it.

I've found the cause of your crash in our internal version. A fix will be included in the next patch.
In the meantime (and really, always) I'd really recommend avoiding having such a massive dynasty.
The game is simply not built to handle dynasties 6500 living characters large. It is directly what caused your crash as part of the code assumed there'd simply never be that many potential heirs.

It's also why your save runs so incredibly slowly, because it has to keep track of thousands of potential heirs all the time.

What can I say? - I'm a family man. :)
But seriously - Giving all possible titles to dynasty members only one of my house rules (except Islamic games of course).
Also it gives +5 to good relations between all and before last changes allows to my family members to be allies to all of them which could be massive when one of them attacks someone. :)

Still, 6500 living dynasty members is a bit extreme ;)

If you want the game to run a bit faster and be less crashy, try to get rid of any elective gavelkind and tanistry within your dynasty, since those will evaluate basically everyone in your dynasty.
Though since it is ironman, I guess there's not all that much you can really do about that :/

Elective gavelkind... That explains why only pagan games crashed, but not Christian or Indian with the very same title's granting patterns.

Hmm... I was pretty sure what my vassals got rid of elective gavelkind ages ago since religious reformation, but who really knows now.
But if it applies to ordinary gavelkind too this succession type remains and can be found quite often.
And even more since new diplomatic option allow to demand gavelkind from vassal I used it plenty.

When I was able to reproduce the crash, it was some count-level guy. Not sure he was even a direct vassal of you.

In 2.7.1 both my crushed games begin to works normally.
Even better they stop being slow down at the time of restarting. :)
I continue both of them before achieving WC and all play fine.
For second game for testing reason I even continue to give lands only to my own family members and the game starts to show some slowing only at the very end.
