You know, I would be up for an "Aberrations" species pack.
As far as Paradox is concerned, we already got our Space Unicorns, but otherwise, yes, Space Narwals would be cool. Maybe someone can mod the Space Dolphins to have a horn eventually. That shouldn't be too difficult for portrait modders.

There's already a space unicorn among the lithoid portraits; I seem to see it as an AI race in every single game.

Cool, I imagine the aquatics will be terraforming planets a lot.
What makes me wonder is the fact that this breaks the balance of planets, where all 9 basic types were all equally viable to all. I would imagine that aquatics will make ocean world a) more contested and b) more common (by aquatics terraforming into ocean worlds).
In the future, will we see more cases of breaking this symmetry?

My first thought on seeing this confirmation is that there'd better be Space Jellyfish species portraits.
But then I was just playing Mass Effect and so the first Aquatic Species to come to mind was the Hanar.
