-I believe, if I remember correctly, that in the past there was a plan to change some of the Councillor duties: just like they did with the spymaster spy network.

Don't know what you mean by these.

Are you planning on bringing over your stuff for the Carolingian Empire, it simulates the way the Holy Roman Empire worked prior to Otto extremely well (in my opinion of course).

Top to see you in HIP any way, love the stuff on heretics. If you need any extra info on Lollards, I had the misfortune of writing my dissertation on the Black Prince, Joan of Kent and various Lollard sympathisers. John Wycliffe's writings are not a particularly fun read, I can tell you that!

Are you planning on bringing over your stuff for the Carolingian Empire, it simulates the way the Holy Roman Empire worked prior to Otto extremely well (in my opinion of course).

No plans on it, no. It mostly affects the Charlemagne bookmark, which SWMH doesn't have, and I don't think the rest of the team really likes having the Carolingian kings under an emperor - so it's not something which is likely to be extended to the Old Gods start either.

Fair play. There really should be an Emperor in that period, it was very important for foreign policy and the like. Even if one person gets crowned without any below him. It also helps with the regnal numbers for later Emperors.

Just ridiculously dry. Wycliff was a scholar, not a wordsmith. He was a bit crazy as well, he wasn't particularly heretical at first, then he got attacked transubstantiation and John of Gaunt had to drop him like a hot potato. Before that Gaunt was his benefactor and protector because he was useful fir attacking the pro french Avignon Papacy.

Ah. figured it was mainly dry. Though the politics around him do seem more interesting. Though, I don't really see the Avignon Papacy appear unless I pick a date that they exist.

The moved the papacy mainly due to health reasons, the land around Rome was riddled with Malaria and other such things. It is, however, unsurprising that all the popes in Avignon were French in this period and also strongly influenced by the French crown.
