Why dont you put in a hardline commy US? There can be a "proletaint revolution" with hardline socalist rebelling, course with help from (possibly) commy blacks from CSA.

The game mechanics as the are will allow the US to go commie if the conditions are met. In terms of events to force the issue- that is going beyond the scope of the scenario somewhat, especially in the pre-1900s. I really cant envison the Yankees going commie really anyway- they love their money too much!

For anyone still actually following this thread...a little update...

Events are pretty much done- some 200 of them so far (although I still have new event pics to do) and Im testing them at present to see how things are playing.

All in all, things arent looking too bad. The AI's for the vanilla WW1 sceanrio seem a bit weak at present- Russia always seems to get its ass kicked pretty quickly and the UK builds a 300,000 man army in the UK and doesnt even send them across the channel- which needs to be looked at.

The USA is still a terrifying opponent, even minus its southern states & fighting the Canadians & the Mexicans at the same time ...which Im pleased to say captures the feel of the books quite nicely.

The vast majority of them yes. I was a bit tired of that yellowish colour on all the regular event pics, so you will be able to tell mine because they will hopefully be brighter.
