Hard Rain is the movie with Morgan Freeman but i am talking about Flood, you guys should watch that and really see what would happen if water would flow in to London. I know it is just a movie but i consider it to give a pretty realistic picture about that kind of situation. Well not maybe realistic but something pretty close to that.

You should never want to change history. If Finland won WW2, I would never have been born. If 30-year war never begun I would not have been born because William Philp would never have joined the Protestant army and moved to Finland later on.
If USA gained independence 100 years late, it would have been too weak for world wars and now all Europe would maybe be communist.

Now, if in the future the glaciers start to melt dramatically the world will do something to prevent huge disasters like in your maps. Like the black sea area and Mediterranean, Gibraltar and the Istanbul strait could be blocked to prevent the flooding of the inner seas. I also don't think that Baltic area would be so flooded. As i say when the melting would become threat to people the governments would do pretty much everything to try to prevent the flooding. This kind of things doesn't happen in few seconds.
