I released the mod files two months ago. You can find them if you roll a few pages back I think.
And yes I'm back. Not back to this mod though as after all these months I've lost the skills of modding this game.
For the last few months I've been completely addicted to Fallout 3. Been modding it quite a lot and released all sortsa mods.

Feel free to mod this one. It's nice to see this is still "alive" although I always said this isn't dead, just temporarily frozen.

Just informing that I'm working on this mod.. Again.
My schooltime is over and I got months of free time before I join the Finnish army in July. I got time to deal with this one before that.

That said, I still have all the files on A2200 on my desktop and I still remember how to mod this game.

So.. I'll be working alone from now on, because it was a huge confusion to manage all those files from all those users :p

Just thought I'd tell ya that.

It's been great that you've been active here all this time. As you might remember, the mod is not that far from being finished.

I don't remember details but:

- Some techtrees need to be done
- Units need to be done.
- Ministers/Leaders need to be done.
- Events need to be done.

Those are, by far, the easiest parts of modding this game. They just are the most annoying ones.


And Hax, never say never. I'm not buying HoI3 in near future and I hope HoI2's community is still alive to see new mods.


Oh, and I'm removing the android rebellion from the mod. Let's face it. Even Zombie Nazis are more original than a robot revolution.

MISC.
- Changed ideology "Military Democracy" to "Authoritarian Democracy"


I can't test this in two days but I recall an issue with crashing on startup with this mod. I believe it's related to the Config files, since there were no error reports.

There is a chance that technologies may need to be remade. It's not so dramatic, since it's only their names. The reason is error reports about language-specific information, I must have accidentally deleted once.

EDIT: I started working on EC order of battle. The country will have a rather small an army at its disposal, but it's very developed.

- Edited EC, German OOB
- Made OOB for Serbia
- Made Aerial OOB for EC
- Returned SouthWest Norway to Norway (didn't make sense EC controlling it).
- Returned Eastern Finland to Finland
- Returned North Norway to Norway
- Adjusted Victory points:
* Paris is not 50 VP
* Removed most Russian VPs
* Japanese cities' VPs decreased
* Washington D.C.'s VPs from 1 to 10

UNITS:
- Stats for Cavalry (Helicopters)

EVENTS:
- Added a new event for EC. It deals with preparing for war with The Alliance.

MISC.
- Renamed Militia to Auxilia.

Helicopter units have less attack than infantry, but more morale and obviously they are faster. European Confederation specializes in helicopter units.

I'm trying to make this mod's lore sound as realistic as possible :)

EDIT: I made an event for EC regarding Sweden.

Sweden and Italy will offer non-aggression pacts if EC pull back from Italy and Sweden, areas it has occupied in the past conflicts. While this would ease EC's state in the future war, dissent will increase by 5-15 if the EC gives in to their demands.

Dunno if you had read my idea for the unuse of nukes prior and their actual uselessness.
Heres a short summary: In the years prior to ww3, allied nations (EC mainly) created a nuclear safeguard defense based upon the thereotical ideas made by Ronald Reagan and his US successors. The SDI project. A independant space defense systeme was built in anticipation of the possibility of a nuclear exchange. The defense systeme would rely on an effective coordination of its kynetic and laser weapons. The system was to be made totaly independant of external influences, it was to opperate on its own thnaks to an advanced onboard computer and its power supply would rely on solar power and very powerfull batteries.

Of course. Emperor Ike did many minister files to the mod, so we're mostly good. There are some ministers that have no "home" but I recall that all your progress is safe and sound.

I tried to get this mod working but I've failed so far.
First there were horrid amounts of invalid IDs in OOBs left by Mr. Spellmann, but those were easily fixed. Also, many minister files made by Ike were corrupted.
Now, even though there are no error reports, the scenario doesn't load. I suspect this has something to do with Armageddon 1.3Beta.
