Anniversary Bug?

I've noticed that unique leaders in minor nations start off fine but over time switch to either generic or one of the new portraits
Are there events I am missing or is this a bug with the 1 Year Anniversary portraits?

this is a known bug that was introduced with DoD. The devs are aware and have said it'll be fixed with a future patch

Do you know how soon that patch will be? atm the game is a bit difficult to play.

nope, all I can do is guess or give pithy replies...

history tells us it'll be sometime between tomorrow and a couple weeks for the first patch. in the meantime, if you don't care about achievements I can tell you how to stop it from happening.

One can't get achievements since it changes the checksum though.

yeah that mod will do, but yeah the simple fix is to just remove one line in the generic NF code.
