Here is an example, I play as Austria. I have occupied all of France, even it's colonies in America by 1612, the only problem is, they can reject my peace offer (all territories except capital). How can they reject when they are already defeated?

This is really annoying, so I would like to know how to edit files to be able to annex any nation in one war, not just pagans.

Play EU1.

Eu2 goes by the rules that you have to have sufficent warscore to get a peace and can only annex a nation that has been reduced to only it's capital province.

However, if you install the beta then France will be forced to accept peace for being defeated (lost control of all cores), but there you can't ask for more than 100%.

Try offering a peace where you only ask for 80-90% value, or just wait for France to give you an even better offer (%-vise, not necessarily better in regards to what you want)

As for editing, either change France to pagan in the savegame or disassemble the .exe and change the program ;)

That means I will have to change every country to pagan before I annex them. Sounds like a slow progress... But, it is probably necessary. Will any of their provinces change to pagan? Because that would be way too sick...

disassemble the .exe and change the program -> Did not get you there, I'll look up the word :)

Actually you can press F12 and type event 679 fra for making France pagan. (If they don't turn pagan, write it again) then you can press f12 again to remove the cheatscreen.

Disassemble ~ take something apart in such a way that you can put it together again in this context remake/reprogram
