Annexing france and England. Also Q about SU Capitol

hi all! in my grand bid for the conquest of Europe I managed to Puppet the Soviet Union making it a fascist state. Now my question about Russia is the capitol isnt Moskva its some small province to the east by the Urals. Why is that?


Also I took over the british isles but i still cant annex. I have all the keypoints in Egypt. Im trying to take over India now but thats a slow long trek. But the thing is I think i already have enough keypoints for a puppeting but it wont let me puppet even though england only has 10 total divisions and i have over a 100.

Also the same thing with france how many of there colonies do i need to annex them I actually landed troops in South America to take over there exile capitol after i nuked there last divisions but now a bunch of american divisions are guarding it.

In resonse to Soviet capitol, it moved there after u captured Moskva, sometimes it doesn't switch back (why would u puppet anyway?)

As for the UK, u need Gibraltar, Malta, Aden (near Yemen), India, Malaya, and Hong kong, and sometimes Newfoundland.

For France, remember Indochina, Libreville and Dakar in Africa, and sometimes New Caledonia (east of Australia)

The easiest way is to use the ledger to see how many victory points (VPs) they have left, then just act. As for those American troops in Gyana, if u still have nukes......

thanks. I guess the reason it didnt move back is cause i had to nuke moscow and i noticed when i nuked london the capitol moved.

I have 7 nukes in reserve so I guess I better start placing those ICBMs.

I think for france you must have conquered all territories,so it was in my game.But why did you puppet SU?

I don't have the game up now but I THINK the UK has a couple of unbelievably random little VP provinces that are little islands. 1 in the Atlantic, and 1 in the S Pacific. They also could take a VP province from someone else that you did not notice.

What helps here is to go into political mapmode which gives "national" colors to the provinces and then reduce scale on the map (the "-" key). That makes it easier to find where all the little annoying 1 VP provinces are that your enemy owns.

As for who questioned why to puppet - this person obviously is not on 1.06 with its resource penalty for occupied provinces. Puppeting the right nations (you get their excess resources) is the only way I can keep the German economy operating at high capacity.

I puppetered SU because i didnt want to have to spend 6 months advancing my forces across Low Infra land conquering all there keypoints to annex so I just puppetered them. And by 47 I got an extra 40 divisions on my side from the SU.



Yeah I hate those provinces i have to use paratroopers to take over one of the islands because my transports refuse to go through suez even though I control all of egypt. I did manage to take all there American territories though.
