Annexation of France and the Panama Canal

Ever 'vichied' france and wanted to annex free france? I really like this. After vichy there is only one island still resisting (port vila northeast of australia), i have to think of the asterix comic every time it happened. So i have to take some fast europa-liners load two tanks on it and depart for polynesia. Quickest route is via panama channel. I just imagine the US panama canal authorities spotting german transport flottilas heading towards them. When the germans are asked whats in their transports they answer: "Just two tank divisions. We are egoing to finish off the french. Did you red about our blitzkrieg in your newspaper? You must have heard of us, we kicked the brits from the mainland." The US canal authorities: "Ah, yes of course didn't recongized u. mhh, two tank divisions.. mhhh... ahh here it is, 3402 $ for passing the canal one way. Good luck and bon voyage."

Yeah, but even if you'll conquer that island, french move their capital to Cayenne in S. America. So you're going back to Panama, and the talk takes place again: "Hi, here we come again. You won't believe what just happened. We conquered that island, but the frogs moved to Cayenne, so we have to go through Canal again."
US customs officer: "Oh, I see. But since you can be considered our regular customer, you'll get 10% discount. Happy 'bout it?"

No Cayenne is Vichy. Port Vila is the only french territory left. (wont buy a one way ticket otherwise....)

Are you sure you need to take Port Vila to annex the Free French? IIRC, all you need is Cayenne.
