Huh, I'm impressed. And it's pretty hard for me to be impressed
Damn, that's....impressive.
Grats Marco, very impressive as usual. Also nice to see you streaming now
What the fk man, i'm impressed.
Thank you!
Obrigado!
I'm a little lazy to watch the stream, but was it 1.14 or 1.15?
The WC was done in 1.14 but the "One faith" was done with 1.15.
I had enough issues converting the New World and Britain / Scandinavia when I did my For Odin / First Come run. Being limited to 2 missionaries makes converting the world damnably hard.
I had a "little" help form the most OP (and broken) mechanic in this game (rebels).
How did you do the New World?
It was a mix of forcing natives to convert, building cathedrals before spawning a CN and forcing CNs to convert; as a last resort I could release and attack the biggest existing CNs, raze and build cathedrals and courthouses/town hall everywhere before spawning a new one.
Yes, lots of ppl asked me over the years if I could stream so I finally decided to do it to see if it was fun and I ended up liking it a lot.
Thoughts on 1.16 with the patch notes released? Struggling to get myself motivated to play EU4 since the states and corruption DD. Patch notes just made me even less motivated to want to play :/
I am not sure yet, the patch notes seem like a mixed bag to me. In theory the new states rules (etc.) will save my mouse from breaking down prematurely whenever I WC (much less non-overseas so the estates will cease to be a major PITA and will be way more exploitable therefore important) , will make blobbing with any strong nation easier/faster but it has the potential of slowing down considerably the OPM starts. I guess Humanist has never been so important to avoid increasing LA at the expense of only +12.5% adm points (not grabbing "adaptability" early). Corruption also worries me slightly if it is nothing more than another arcade mechanic designed solely to punish expansion without being believable in RL world sense. I am also not 100% sure what they meant by removing the overseas AE modifier, hopefully this won´t mean worldwide coalition potential like in ~1.3. Anyway I definitely do not like razing giving unrest because that will kill the last bit of fun of playing as a Horde. Arguably the 1.15 changes to the hordes already killed all the fun of playing them but the extra unrest therefore rebels or having to cede the provinces does it for me. Rebels and/or railroad gameplay are not fun!
OK how is it possible to do a one tag as Manchu by 1579.
I'm guessing you started as Yeren; converted to Animist with rebels from Tengri; and went from there.
You guys can see how I did it here and in my Twitch channel:
