What if they actually make a game set in China this time?
Well, no body ask about this...
Hm....
I think the ck2 design would lend itself well to a romance of the three kingdoms period.

Gotta love Paradox for what they admit on camera. Go to any other dev and they would be making up excuses for that whole 45 minute session. Anyway, this was the nail in the coffin for Victoria III rumors.
A Three Kingdoms piece would be pretty popular, I think.A game about China is unlikely considering Sengoku was a failure in term of profits and Rajas of India still have it's share of hostility. Not that I approve the Euro-centric view, but PI still have to make profits and those games would probably be less profitable.
What I pray for is Paradox game devoted to 'the Dark Ages' or, more precisely, the period between the fall of Rome and deep medieval, and not centered on Europe.

When they were talking about DLC and monetization, I have a small concern. I dont mind the DLC itself, but when it is released so close to release it becomes odd. The old expansion plan where you release a game, then wait almost a year to release something else, always felt that it was more the devs playing the game and releasing that "hey, we should add this in".
Edit: Also can we stop asking the softball question "How important are the fans/feedback?". Is there ever someone in their right mind that is gonna say "None. We dont care about them or their feelings"?
Actually.. the team moved onto another project and didnt look at the old one for a long time.. sucked for quality and creativity.
Rajas of India did great.. Sengoku less so.. Sincerely doubt we'll ever make a China-focused game.
Ehh... HRE is a no-go because it had so much interaction with the states around it. ROTK works because China was sufficiently isolated. You should consider making a game in the vein of ROTK X but set in a European state, like the HRE.

Not sure where else you could do this, to be honest. Britain? Roman invasions, then Nordic invasions, then battles with France... Egypt? Sufficiently isolated if you go far back enough, but not really the same kind of fun warring states situation.
I guess maybe Central Africa or the Americas? That actually might be kind of interesting.
I'd also love to see a Polynesian game zoomed way in, focused on developing an uninhabited island that your migrant boats just arrived at.
