Part V
UK economy at breaking point
A 20 billion pound borrowing binge, as it has been described by the opposition leader, is leading the United Kingdom to the breaking point.
A Populus survey for the Times on Tuesday suggested 40% of people trusted Mr Brown and chancellor Alistair Darling to fight the recession, compared with 31% for Mr Cameron and shadow chancellor George Osborne.
But there asks the question- Is something better then nothing? To be seen doing nothing shows incapability, to do something shows action and dedication. Even if it may wreck your country tommorow, it may work today. The United Kingdoms fate hangs in the balance. It cannot do it alone. It will either have to change to the Euro or suffer the economic downfall. With the Pounds strength falling, it looks like dark times ahead for the United Kingdom.
