I'm going to add my own Steam love here. Steam is how DRM should be done. I do see a people complain about it on forums and what not (like here), but I rarely see any specifics why.

On ever forum of a steam game we get various threads putting down steam. I don't have a problem with it personally and have never had any issues.

IIRC Johan (or Fred?) said that boxed version is barely making any profit - so I doubt that there will be much more Paradox games with boxed version.

Ive been trying to find a boxed version and i live in the central united states. Best buy and gamestop here have never heard of CK2 and all the amazon has is d/l copies. I also tried ebay with no luck.
If anyone has indeed had luck in finding a boxed copy here in the US please pm me.....otherwise i suppose its gg or steam for me.

anti-Steam threads are an evil that could ruin all fun of the game. Will they be applied to other forums in the future? I....hate it very much......


Seriously though....you where giving a non steam version as an option. If you didn't use it that is your own fault. we have far too many threads about this. And hopefully this one will be closed soon.

Try amazon.de (but game might be in german and shipping might be expensive).
