Alright, this is a link to the 2.0.3 compatible version of the beta build, just to be clear this is the version where Gaels and Brythons are two separate religions, I'll be uploading the Alpha version (Where they are merged into celtic paganism) this night.

Edit: And this is the link to the Alpha, it is in a working state, but wont be as balanced and not all the localisations are in yet. Theres still much to add but the main thing I need help with now is balancing the effects and find bugs. Specific effects I would need help on are what should I do to differentiate the province modifiers celts now get when owning a province.

But I'll try to find out the problem, the only different thing from vanilla holy orders is that I havent adapted the castle gifting events, so maybe there is something there that prevents them from changing, though I doubt it.

does the celtic paganism include the standard vanilla stuff, raids, subjugation, concubines etc?

Sorry if that's answered in here but i don't know how to word that specifically to do a search

Just saw the updates and got the alpha installed and set up. Then found out that I could not appoint a diplomat or court chaplin. I tried several different characters at all different ranks of titles, all the same. Just wanted to let you know, keep up the good work, and Happy Holidays!

Are you playing celtic pagan?
In the Alpha, celtic pagans can only appoint a spiritual counsellor if they have a Druid on hand, any character having the druid trait is considered a druid.

While the game starts with no druid on hand for now, there is a decision to get one if you do not have any, plus there is an event chain that will make them appear naturally through the game.

For a diplomat, you'll need a character that has either the poet or druid trait, also the same event chain that makes the druids appear will have a chance to make poets appear, be warned that druids cannot inherit.

This choice was made to reflect the importance of the druids and bards as not only religious leaders, but also teachers, judges, doctors and councillors.

Just playing as a catholic ruler, which is a problem because I like to fabricate claims.

Well they're being demoted to a mercenary order, but they're still there! Just no special trait.

1. Celtic Knight (not sure about the green, but like all color stuff it's easily changed)

Notes:
Maybe a white background for the dragon? Thats what the flag looks like, but besides that the dragon is very nice. The helmet is great!

No trouble on the treasures! Take your time :p

Compatibility patches up to date? It's hard to play vanilla these days.
Ahh sorry.. I'm completely booked for the christmas break, so while I do have more time than before, I'll still be keeping it dedicated to the alpha.

one more question about the Irish paganism if you don't mind; How does it compare to the norse paganism in the vanilla? I came back to CK2 after a lengthy time away and have conquered all of Britannia or "Éire" (thank you customisation DLC you fixed my biggest gripe of playing as the irish lol) and reformed the faith. I'm far enough in that i'm unsure i want to restart so i just have to kas if it has the same stuff The coastal/river raiding is great but the best part is being the Fylkir and being able to declare crusades or whatever they are. Does the irish king become something similar or is there a fecking pope (who just picks at random)? frustrating since i'll be the only follower of the faith.

Also how stable is it?

Maybe make the gray one paler? The sword is good though.

one more question about the Irish paganism if you don't mind; How does it compare to the norse paganism in the vanilla? I came back to CK2 after a lengthy time away and have conquered all of Britannia or "Éire" (thank you customisation DLC you fixed my biggest gripe of playing as the irish lol) and reformed the faith. I'm far enough in that i'm unsure i want to restart so i just have to kas if it has the same stuff The coastal/river raiding is great but the best part is being the Fylkir and being able to declare crusades or whatever they are. Does the irish king become something similar or is there a fecking pope (who just picks at random)? frustrating since i'll be the only follower of the faith.

Also how stable is it?
From what I've tested, the mod is very stable. In terms of mechanics, the celts work more like baltic pagans than norse pagans, except the celts have similar levy, retinue and troop bonuses to the norse.

So no coastal raiding, just normal raiding. Also while the beta version has a fylkyr like religious ruler for the gaelic pagans, the alpha has an arch druid as religious head, to further the importance of druids.

At the moment I'm planning on giving all the Treasures the same background, unless you object. I figured it would make it easier to quickly spot someone who has one. But since there's a truckload of them, I want to make sure you're content with the color (or level of grayness) so I don't have to re-do them all at a later date.

Oh I understand the concern :p But I think a paler gray would go, but its your choice, whatever makes the symbols come out better.

Edit: Added AnaxX's traits to the alpha + a fix for the councillor problem, not time to test it, but have fun looking at them ingame!
