I've recently found myself a catholic defender of fait hfor 80 years and wanted to go protestant (to become leader in the league war which will happen soon). It has bothered me a lot because it stuck while I had a female ruler and not at max prestige, but no one took over.
I read somewhere that I just "had" to lose a war, so I "won" 100% Ws against some african land (as France, I had so many troops and they had like 0) and gave 1% worth of gold to my enemy and finally lost the DotF tag.
Yeah...
But it was a bother for... almost nothing.
Couldn't we just have a "I give up DoF" button, even if it cost some prestige or other thing?
