If I do purchase the game I will follow my order from HOI2. Italy and then Argentina. I can't remember who I did third.

I am going to play as the USA for the first time...a sandbox comfortable game to learn the new stuff.
Then the Soviet Union or Germany, then Japan and Italy...these are the most funny, standard games.
And of course, I plan to defeat Germany as Czechoslovakia...it was quite easy in HoI2

There is not the whole Germany in the scenario so the maximum you can accomplish is to seize 1/4 of the German territory.
In a standard game, the easiest way to crush Germany is to join the Allies in 1936, vote right in summer 36 (paternal autocrat) and DoW.
But you can win even in 38 (rejecting Munich agreement).
If you choose to go ahistorical, no limit game, you can DoW Hungary and Austria in summer 36 and then go for Germany. This is probably the easiest way.
The bad thing is that in 1.3 beta patch Poland, Romania and Hungary often join the Axis after the war breaks out and you're screwed. Also, there are more guarantees in the area and AI tends to hold them more often than in previous versions. So you would probably have to load a few times.
Remember that CZE has over 20 modern divs and massive forts in 36.
Well if you look at the flag to my left for the country I like to play after a bit of modding (Usually just to give them cores on the entire area they hold at game start).

I'll probably play as Ireland or Italy. For some reason i always enjoy playing as those nations.
I think I'll do a benchmark of sorts, first a Götterdämmerung game as Germany to see if the AI kills me. Then SU 1936 on VH/Furious and Full IC takeover to see if Germany is a serious threat. Third test will be Japan 1936 to see how the new invasion AI works. At this point I'll probably be able to see if this game is worth something.

Yeah I like that one too in HOI3 but I use a modded difficulty between Hard and Vhard, I just cant swallow some of the penalties Vs them making the AI smarter.

my starting game, though, will be france. I want to see how long i can hold out under the new gameplay/combat system and ai. Shame on the developers if i make it to berlin in my first go!
