Now for the second time I am writing this for I didn't log in
. Dumb freakn not loged in.......
ANYWHO
We all know that the bombing and air to air attacks are pretty much not liked (If you do like it then Im not talking to you; now am I?) My Idea which I think is a good replacement, who knows maybe it isn't, is that there should be a pentally for attacking 1 air or ground unit with 2963592 bombers or attacking. It seem that the coumpter did this in HOI1 and now THEY solved it by adding this (ATTACKING NOT THE PROVANCE BUT IN A AREA WHICH HAS 5 PROVANCES AROUND IT; SO THAT IT MAKES YOU MAD THAT YOUR ATTACKING METZ NOT THE PROVANCE NEXT TO METZ) Anyways... Damn french... I solved with a pentally called the "Team-Up" pentally. This is where when you have 12 fighters hiting on 2 fighters that they don't get totally, destoried. Just like in real Life as well.. If you had 10 guys beating up 1 guy only probably 4-5 of thoses guys will actually hit the 1 guy and so it implies it with air bombing and attacking as well. Tac bombers should get more "Team-Up" pentally for how they can attack at the same height (For if they didn't they would be bombing on each other) So hears a nice little, poorly done little diagram.
Diagram #1
French:
Fighter 1 (Attacking Unit 1) Pentally: 0.00%
Fighter 2 (Attacking Unit 2) Pentally: 0.00%
Fighter 3 (Attacking Unit 3) Pentally: 0.00%
Fighter 4 (Attacking Unit 1) Pentally: 5.00%
Fighter 5 (Attacking Unit 2) Pentally: 5.00%
Fighter 6 (Attacking Unit 3) Pentally: 5.00%
Fighter 7 (Attacking Unit 1) Pentally: 10.00%
Fighter 8 (Attacking Unit 2) Pentally: 10.00%
Fighter 9 (Attacking Unit 3) Pentally: 10.00%
Germany:
Fighter unit #1
Fighter unit #2
Fighter unit #3
More units you attack on smaller size forces the more the pentally. Also that the pentally might be higher or lower; what ever the programmers prefer that would make it fair or the readers ,like you, may like ( I wanna hear feed back on this).
But its different with heavy bombers:
Diagram #2
French:
Fighter 1 (Attacking Unit 1) Pentally: 0.00%
Fighter 2 (Attacking Unit 2) Pentally: 0.00%
Fighter 3 (Attacking Unit 3) Pentally: 0.00%
Fighter 4 (Attacking Unit 1) Pentally: 2.50%
Fighter 5 (Attacking Unit 2) Pentally: 2.50%
Fighter 6 (Attacking Unit 3) Pentally: 2.50%
Fighter 7 (Attacking Unit 1) Pentally: 5.00%
Fighter 8 (Attacking Unit 2) Pentally: 5.00%
Fighter 9 (Attacking Unit 3) Pentally: 5.00%
Germany:
Transport unit #1
Stragical unit #2
Stragical unit #3
You ask, hey why the pentally is smaller? well the reason why is that the units are just bigger and the bigger it is the more units is can be attacked by. The same would go with tanks to just normal infantry.
Now the same thing with Air to ground targets would be the same in diagram #1 but the pentally shall be higher for TAC. units attacking.
To summerize its like using the Navy attacking way and adding some other stuff to it. So now I want to hear feedback you guys, hate it, love it, add something to it, or anything. This a suggestion. And if you guys really like the idea, who knows? It might come on V1.2
. Plus to the fact I hate the new aircraft fighting system.
