Could we get a FaQ of exactly what will carry over in some form into CK3 from CK2 Paradox from the DLC?
This is the first time a Paradox heavy DLC game has gotten a sequel. People are going to be coming over with very high expectations, and I'm not sure "the base CK2 but prettier" is going to work at launch. A FaQ of some sort to go over what's coming over and what isn't would be really helpful to help manage hype. Obviously quite a lot of the DLC features ( better Faction system! ) I just expect to be present through new systems. But there was a lot of content there.
Basically going down a list, can we expect
Muslim starts.
Republic starts.
Pagan starts and 867 start date.
Jewish starts.
India.
769 start.
Way of Life seems in, from screenshots.
Nomadic governments. ( And I'll just throw this all together with it from previous DLC, but differing government type per cultures. )
Conclave wouldn't be needed, Council will be a reworked base feature I assume.
Plague, disease and the Black Death.
Secret Societies.
Bloodlines, Holy Orders, Shattered Worlds.
I realize a lot of this probably can't be talked about until later when we start getting gameplay, but even coming out early and saying "yes you can play Muslim, Jewish, Pagan, and Republic starts with base CK3. They all will play differently." would go a long way to building up hype among cynical people.
Read my post where I TL DR the stream.
TL DR of TL DR
We will get all of old map, with some extensions in Tibet and Africa. Everyone is playable.
Republicas/nomads are cut, nomads will be changed into tribals.
Bloodlines are pretty much all but conformed, as probably are secret societies.
Way of Life is obviously in, as are fully dynamic religions.
