But what is this group of 'Wend' near Leipzig?
It is as light blue as the Italians ??

They were a native Slavic people some of whom survived the German 'Drang noch Osten' of the Middle Ages.

If not for it being a map of 1923.

You're correct, though, that this is not needed for HoI.
