I ascended on the Byzantine throne, and increased crown authority to medium almost instantly. The Byzantine Empire had election as succession law, so eventually my derpy son did not get the majority of votes anymore. I now seek to change it to gavelkind or primogeniture, but obviously, there is always a war in an empire as big as this one. Is there a way to see vassal's wars and somehow stop them through assassinations etc? I mean, I have a realm size of like 600 and over 100 vassals, no way I can just look over all my counties to find out.

The only thing I could think of would be to look in the ledger. There is a 'wars' screen in there, where you can see all the wars going on in the world at that moment, the primary belligerents, war score, etc. with 100+ vassals that could still be hard though.

It becomes much more difficult when you have a large realm to change inheritance laws. Finding out which vassals are fighting is one thing, stopping the wars is another.
