The late game is by far the worst problem Stellaris currently has. But there is a simple fix to this:
Most of the lag is created by the calculation of pop jobs and trade routes which is made every day. But if you would ask any player if he wants rather a game that is playable after 2300 or daily calculation of trade routes and pop jobs, which is in no case nescessary, i think few would vote for the latter. Im writing this because i love Stellaris and the 2.2 patch but the game is now COMPLETELY UNPLAYABE thanks to the late game lag. Solving this issue should be prioritized over any new features or changes because people who stop playing stellaris wont buy any new dlcs.
