In my current game, Frankfurt am Main (after 2 or 3 progressively left-wing revolutions) has finally become a full-blooded communist dictatorship, in early 1857. They broke away from the German confederacy quite a while ago, in their first revolution. Other than that, there hasn't been anything I can tell, that has been atypical about this game for them. The just love equality, and authoritative rule, apparently.
This seems kind of early. How typical do you see this happen?
Now as Russia, I'm going get access from PRU & go in and annex them... and sell 'em to Prussia... FOR A HEFTY RANSOM...
In fact, I'll do the same w/ Anhalt, Coburg, and Weimar. They're just liberal, but even that is asking for invasion, IMO.
