When does the real Amsterdam map will be launched? Current map needs some work... Amsterdam is bigger than only 2 canals...
If not, can you make the map available for editing?

The current map is the only Amsterdam map. I don't think they will make another one.
All the maps in the game are scaled, even the XL maps like Berlin and Tokyo.
You can use the GS-tools http://www.citiesinmotion.net/index.php?page=DatabaseItem&id=4orm=DatabaseDownload
Open the maps.gs file and extract all the amsterdam files.
Put them in the maps folder (...\Documents\Cities in Motion\maps\) and change the name of the files so the map will not be duplicated.
Open the map editor and have fun!

Scaled or not, it is just incorrect. Central Station for example is not an end station...
I tried editing but it is too much work when starting with Amsterdam from 1920.

Seems a request to Paradox to me then... create this kind of station!
A real Centraal Station would be great too, if I'm right it was included in Sim City.

At the moment I'm working on a more realistic Amsterdam. Deleting all the surrounding villages, stretching the actual city and editing street plan etcetera.

I do have one question. The stadium is located in the south-east, but you can't say it's the Amsterdam ArenA. So, my question is, should I replace it towards the south-west like the Olympisch Stadion? Or is it better to keep it in the east to distribute the demand for transportation?

Despite being the 'new kid on the block', I have read this forum and played this game a while, and I have been following this thread closely.

You have effectively slaughtered the entire development team behind Amsterdam map. So when you build your version, if there is a single, tiny error, no matter how small, I will come down on you like a ton of bricks. And you can't blame it 'on the game limitations' either since you are so smug and reckon you can build it spot on. There is no call for such an arrogant and demeaning attitude that you have presented in this one thread.
How about you balance your 'argument' out by at least saying a couple of good points, followed by turning your negative points to constructive ones?

I'm not here for uproar and argument, actually quite the opposite, however people WILL ignore you if you continue bigging yourself up, and slaughtering the guys who actually made the game in the first place.

Happy transporting :)
