I have not quite got the hang of an amphibious landing. For some reason I always end up out of supply, even if I take a port. I'm guessing that only a certain amount of supplies can be brought in, resulting in the situation where while my army gets some supplies, they don't get enough to stay supplied.

I'd just like to know what tips people had regarding amphibious landings so I could make a decent go as the British, who are of course dependent on amphibious landings in order to achieve victory.

1) Create some beachhead, and create some depots there -> for Brits islike Piemont, Portugal, Sicilia, Norway or Hamburg.
2) Capture more ports.
3) Create more supply trains. In safe place 30 units of supply trains I think is enough.
4) Use supply map mode to get info how many units you can maintain.
5) Don't allow enemy to block ports. If you aren't british, and you fighting against them you have hard work to do.
6) Ask for military access and take supplies from your friend.

Do marines help with amphibious landings or are they just a flavour unit?
