Amphibious landing bug?

During my invasion of the US as Japan I was busy unloading troops from TPs after a succesfull landing, but then I was attacked by a big fleet. As quickly as I could I tried to retreat, but only to see that they had to reorganise. But when I looked at wich date they would be ready it was 24 hours later, but a month earlier!!! . So it was feb '42 but I had to wait untill jan '42. The fleet was decimated as they were under fire for more then a day. I forgot to take a screenshot but did anyone else notice this?

Also in HOI 2 wasnt it usual that transport fleets never had to reorganise after an amphibious assault?

The only thing I have noticed about an amphibious assault was you could no longer unload troops off your ships onto enemy territory without choosing amphibious assault on the ship mission list. On the other hand I did get it to work occasionally, so I have no idea what is going on with your particular problem.

The problem you, Mo-jo have experienced is normal.
If your ships are attacked while troops are disembarking, you will have to go back to a home port, where your troops will then appear again.

Your ships as far as I know need to have full org before they can take on an amphibious landing mission.

However the way I do my amphibious landings, is to unload the troops while at sea, and 'walk' them to the province in question I am about to attack.

I had a situation when I was unloading troops to an enemy province and my naval force was attacked. I was unable to retreat the fleet, because I could not select the fleet icon - it would only allow me to select the land forces unloading. As a result my fleet was mauled.

Don't know if this is a fault or a WAD, but I am a damn sight more wary of unloading troops in contested waters now o

I didnt use the amphibious assault move, but I just unloaded and walked to the province. I won the attack but the troops were still trying to get ashore. Should I have first cancelled the moving order of my troops? It would be impossible as they had to reorganise. It isnt a big problem though, but now I keep warships in the area aswell.
